Power flushing
Power flushing is an aspect of maintenance which corrects a number of negative symptoms that can develop in central heating systems.
Corrosion and sludge can build up in a heating system over time. This debris gathers in radiators and at joints or bends in the piping. Eventually this can build up to the point that it affects the efficiency of your boiler. It can also cause odd noises in your boiler.
Power flushing (sometimes referred to as jet flushing or hard flushing) involves pumping high pressure water through the system, breaking up and dislodging these deposits.
As well as solving problems with inefficiency in your heating system and unusual noises, power flushing should be carried out before installing a new boiler. This ensures that your new boiler has a longer working life and doesn't develop problems in the short term.
